Commanding Your Units
Use the left stick to move Evan and have his forces move with him. Use the left and right bumpers to rotate the arrangement of units around him.
Quick-Marching and
All-Out Attack
Holding the [A] button while moving will give the order to quick-march, causing your forces to move at double speed until you release the button. Holding the [X] button will give the order to perform an all-out attack, increasing the speed at which your units attack until you release the button. Performing these actions will cause the Might Gauge to empty, but it will begin to refill as soon as you release the button.
Initiating Special Tactics
Holding the right trigger will open the special tactics palette. Pressing the [A], [B], [W], or [X] button while the palette is open will initiate the special tactic of the unit assigned to that button—assuming you have enough military might to do so.
PLEASE NOTE: The number at the bottom-right of each special tactic tells you how much military might it will cost to use.
Calling for Reinforcements
Holding the [B] button will call for reinforcements, bringing backup soldiers running to replenish any depleted units. This will cost differing amounts of military might depending on the number of reinforcements required.
Initiating Shock Tactics
When the guts gauge is full, you can press the [Y] button to initiate shock tactics, which will cause all unit types to be effective against all others, and allow you to quick-march and perform all-out attacks without the might gauge being depleted.
